Privacy Policy

Information used by the service

Why this information is used

We use information to authenticate accounts, provide the features you request, keep account balances and access accurate, process and verify orders, maintain referral relationships, respond to support requests, and protect the service against unauthorized access, payment abuse and technical failures.

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, the relevant purposes include providing the service you request, protecting the service and its users, and meeting applicable recordkeeping or legal obligations. Where a particular activity requires consent, that consent must cover the activity concerned; reading this policy is not a blanket consent to unrelated uses.

Services involved in processing information

We may also disclose relevant information when required by applicable law or when necessary to address fraud, security incidents or legal claims. Service providers may process information outside your country; do not assume that every part of the service is hosted in your location.

Cookies and browser storage

The website uses browser local storage and session storage for sign-in state, account display information, invitation information, preferences and cached match data. Google sign-in also uses short-lived cookies to secure the authorization and account exchange process. Stripe, Google and WhatsApp may use their own cookies or storage when you interact with their services.

You can sign out and use your browser settings to clear or limit storage. Clearing necessary storage can sign you out or reset preferences; blocking necessary cookies can prevent Google sign-in from working. Clearing browser storage does not itself delete server-side account or payment records.

Retention and security

Different records have different purposes and lifecycles. Sign-in codes and temporary authorization records expire. Account, order, credit and service records are kept for operating your account, resolving support or payment issues, maintaining security and meeting applicable obligations. Report availability or expiry in the interface is not a promise that every associated account or transaction record is deleted at that time.

We use access controls and secure connections to protect the service, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your sign-in codes private. Never send a full card number, card security code or bank verification code to Football Data Insights support.

Your choices and privacy requests

You can edit the profile information supported by your account and choose whether to use Google sign-in or provide optional referral information. Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, or to object to or restrict particular processing.

Contact us to make a privacy request or ask about information associated with your account. We may need enough information to verify that the account is yours. Some payment, security or legal records may need to be retained, and we will explain any applicable limitations. There is no need to disclose a password, sign-in code or full payment-card details to make a request.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the updated version and its effective date will be published on this page. Please review the current version when deciding how to use the service.
